Varieties: ● 60% Old Vine Trépat ● 40% Carinyena VINIFICATION: Trépat vines between 80 and 100 years old from three different estates. Manual harvest. Alcoholic fermentation for 45 days. Malolactic fermentation in 300 and 500-liter barrels. Approximately 9 months of aging in 225-liter oak barrels. TASTING NOTES: Very intense color for a Trépat. Aromas of ripe red fruit, pepper, and light hints of chocolate and coffee. Pleasant mouthfeel upon entry. Very well-balanced acidity. Very long finish.
