Mil Rios Mencia

Mil Ríos Mencía 13% DO Valdeorras-It is the outcome of a careful selection during the vintage. Its maceration has been carried out at a cold temperature, which has allowed the extraction of all the aromatic potential of the grape. It stays in stainless steel tanks during 9 months, in order to complete its aging afterwards inside the bottle during a minimum of 18 months. This aging, besides stability and maturity, provides, fundamentally, wideness to the wine, as well as structure and volume in the mouth, and also aromatic complexity and balance, without losing the character and the singularity of the variety and the soil. We recommend, in order to fully enjoy the qualities of this wine, serving it at a temperature of 17-19 ºC, which is slightly superior to the temperature the young red wines should be served, and also to aerate it before being served.
